I’ve had dogs my entire life but my family would always get them from local breeders in CA. This is was my first time getting a dog out of state from a breeder I knew nothing about but I have to tell you our family couldn’t be happier! When we saw little “Lakers” face, now Banksy we knew we had to have him join our family. When I called and spoke to Gladys she was an absolute delight. She was patient and thorough and you could tell she’s been doing this for some time. She never pressured me at any point and welcomed me to even have a conversation with Kimberly their pet behavior specialist. I spoke to Kimberly who made sure this sheepadoodle was going to be the right fit. She described his personality and told me what to expect. They made me very comfortable in my decision to get the dog. The transportation of the dog to CA was easy and Gladys kept me informed. He arrived as healthy and happy as can be, and he’s one of the cutest sheepadoodle puppies I have ever seen! Woodlot Companions is the way to go!

Our experience with Woodlot Companions was incredible! We live out of state but Gladys was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure all our questions were answered. She kept us informed and sent us photos and videos of our pup each week. Everyone we meet says that he is the best looking dog they have ever seen and they are right! Our pup is a wonderful addition to our family and we will absolutely return once we are ready for another. We would most definitely recommend Woodlot Companions!!

I brought my English Cream Golden Retriever baby girl, Visenya (was Laine) home about 2 weeks ago. My husband & I were just discussing how extremely intelligent she is…she knows “leave it”, “sit”, “get your toy” & of course, “no” “ah-ah” etc. We have an English Cream Lab and he is smart, but Visenya is BRILLIANT, once or twice and she has it! Not only that, but Gladys works with and KNOWS her babies! The description is accurate. It is OBVIOUS, when you bring home a Woodlot Companion, that they are bred to be exactly that. They are familiar with having their feet, ears etc touched… familiar with a family environment and responsive to people… clearly NOT “kennel babies” this is SO important in puppy rearing & is underestimated by even the best breeders…but not by Woodlot. I cannot recommend Gladys & Merlin strongly enough, I have shown dogs of many breeds, all my life & have never brought home a puppy so young that has been so we’ll prepared for it’s new home. I do not give this recommendation lightly and every word is from the heart. If you have hesitated, hesitate no longer. Contact Woodlot, you will not be sorry. They are kind and open and breed amazing dogs. You can trust them. – Heather T

We purchased Hank as a surprise for our boys in California. He has been so gentle, sweet and just a part of our family. We had a good experience with the breeder answering our questions to fly him to LAX. We couldn’t ask for a better dog!

Our family had been looking for a Mini Bernedoodle for over a year. My husband came across Woodlot Companions and we immediately fell in love with (Jimmi), what we hoped to be our future puppy. We reached out to Gladys and she was more than happy to answer all of our questions. Next, we caught a flight to Cleveland, rented a car, and drove to meet our new puppy, Maverick. He was such a happy puppy. Very playful and loving at the same time. We had an 11 hour drive ahead of us to get home. He was a dream in the car. We had potty and stretch breaks every 2-3 hours. Otherwise, he slept the entire trip. Gladys checked in on us the next day to make sure we made it home safely. And has continued to do so every so often. We of course can’t help but send her an occasional picture to let her know how happy we are with Maverick. He is now 4 months old and so full of personality. He greets us with sloppy kisses the moment any of us gets home. He has brought a lot of joy and laughter to our household. A big thanks to Gladys and her family for making our experience so rewarding.

I just got my Mini Bernedoodles puppy from Woodlot companion and I’m very happy , she has an incredible temperament, the attention of the breeders is excellent!!! You can immediately notice these puppy’s are treated with lots af love and care , they sent my puppy to Los Ángeles in perfect conditions !! Thanks a lot !!!

Willow joined our family this summer! She is an absolute joy & we love her so much! Ray & Gladys couldn’t have been easier to work with & we HIGHLY recommend them if you are looking for a quality breeder. From my initial inquiry online, Gladys & I spoke on the phone & she answered all of my questions about their business & the upcoming litters. I had a good feeling in my heart that they were honest & took great pride in their dogs. Gladys was always a text away & always updated me on the status of the litter. Once they were born, Ray sent pictures & videos on email as well as on their website. Before we chose Willow, we had an hour long phone call with their dog trainer, who temperament tested all of the puppies in the litter. In this phone call, we discussed our family’s lifestyle & she gave us her recommendation as to which puppies she felt would best suit us. She was great & we’ve had Willow home 6 weeks now, & the temperament is still quite accurate! We live in Pittsburgh & were traveling to Columbus a few weeks before Willow’s pick-up date, & Ray & Gladys allowed us to stop by to see Willow in person. We so appreciated this & when we saw their beautiful grounds, spotless facilities, & met in person, we just knew this was the right choice! The Troyers truly love each puppy & have a passion for what they do. Willow had her first appointment with our vet recently, & the vet said what a good-looking, quality, healthy puppy she was. We have had our mini bernedoodle for over a year and he is wonderful and so cute. Woodlot was a pleasure to adopt our dog from, and we highly recommend them for your perfect family pet.

I purchased my mini sheepadoodle, Bogey, from Woodlot Companions in December 2020. He turns 9 months old this week and he is extremely smart and well-tempered. He loves people, walks, treats, and the dog park. Such a fun addition.

We are so happy with our experience with Woodlot Companions! On June 16 we picked our sweet little girl, Arya, up. We renamed her Georgie to match our Stevie. The communication between Woodlot Companions and our home, every step of the way, was much appreciated. We just love our little girl and would definitely get another puppy from Woodlot Companions if and when the time comes for Georgie to have a companion. Thank you!

Ollie (born Easton) is such an awesome dog. We have had him for a year now are so delighted to have him in our family (that goes for the humans and the other dogs). He is everything one expects in a golden retriever but is even more. He is so smart that he knows (and generally follows) basic commands without us ever training him. He has so much personality and endearing behaviors that he always has everybody charmed and laughing. His love of his family is palpable. He has speed and stamina. And, of course, he is a very handsome boy. Gladys was a pleasure to deal with. She was always available to answer all our questions and guide us through the process, including puppy choice, and stayed in touch after adoption to make sure everything was okay. Everything was handled pleasantly and professionally. I recommend Woodlot Companions very highly!

Great breeder. They really care about their puppies. Our Bernese Mountain Dog couldn’t be sweeter and her markings are perfect. I highly recommend this breeder.

I got my mini goldendoodle, Teddy (now named Jaxon), in December 2020 and he has been my partner in crime ever since. Jaxon turned 1 on October 13th 2021! I could ask for a better puppy. I swear he is the happiest, goofiest, most loving dog of all time. I took him to college with me and we are having the time of our lives. I get so many compliments and questions about him and what breeder he’s from. He has become an amazing addition to my life and my friends and family’s lives. The process of getting Jaxon was so easy and communication was great. I am so happy I purchased my puppy from here; I got my forever friend.

We are beyond happy with Woodlot Companion! My husband drove 3.5 hours to pick up our English Cream Golden Retriever boy, now named Remington. The entire transaction was amazing and smooth! The puppies are so well cared for and happy! Remingtons demeanor is so calm and relaxed. He loves on his new older sister and their dynamic is great! We took Remi to the vet the next day and the vet was very impressed with his health. He said he is in stellar health. If we ever want another retriever we know where to go! Woodlot are top notch breeders! We can’t thank you enough!
