I adopted “Coral” from Woodlot Companions at the end of March 2021 (she was born 1/25/21). Her name is CharleeGirl now, and she is the sweetest, smartest, prettiest little girl. She has been very healthy, too. 😊🙏🤞 The process was sort of scary at first, because I live outside of Boston and she was in Ohio, so I didn’t get to meet her first, but after putting a deposit on-line late night, I received a text from Gladys nearly immediately. We talked the next day and after hearing her family’s story as to why they started breeding pups and how they are housed and cared for I couldn’t help but move forward. They seamlesly arranged delivery from Ohio TO MY FRONT DOOR 3 days later! 🤩 I had my pretty little girl on Wednesday! I was elated and the transportation co. they used was incredible, (A to Z Transportation) they even sent me pictures of her on her 2 day journey to me. l would highly recommend Woodlot Companions for an English Cream Golden Retriever, Charlee’s temperament is actually just as they described her on the website “CHILL, but likes to play hard when she plays” Thank you to Woodlot Companions, after loosing my Golden Retriever Bella a few weeks earlier it was so nice to have a new little one, and obviously if I am taking the time to write this review a year and a half after getting her you know it is all true. I trust these breeders completely. I now have purchased 2 English Creams from Woodlot, one in 2018 and the latest last year. They are beautiful and very healthy animals. I can’t be more pleased. To the folks at woodlot Companions, Back in June when we adopted Kelsi (Bernedoodle) you stated that you would like to hear from us about how she was doing. Well here we are at nine months old (26.9 lbs) and have nothing really to complain about. She had a very good start with socialization from you folks, gets along with very well with all of our family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Basically she has never seen another human that she did not like. She is true to “ALL” of the characteristics of her parents. She knows her name, is a bit stubborn at times (we call it selective hearing 😀) and will give you a paw when asked, will sit on command, rings a bell at the back door when she wants to go outside to do her thing and is about 90% trained to walk on a leash. She loves to play. Weather or other distractions prohibiting, she gets a one and a half mile walk every day. Somewhere in that pile of fur is a happy Kelsi, (she has ownership papers on Marvin) and “ALL” can be summed up with her bedtime prayer. The King-sized bed is soft and deep. I sleep right in the center groove, My human beings can hardly move. I trapped their legs, they’re tucked in tight, And here is where I pass the night. No one disturbs me or dares intrude, Till morning comes and “I want food!” I sneak up slowly to begin, And nibble on my humans chin. For morning’s here, it’s time to play, I always seem to get my way. So thank you lord, for giving me, These human persons that I see. The ones that hug me and holds me tight, And shares their bed with me at night. Amen Marvin

After reading some of the reviews already, I don’t think I can express how great my English cream retriever is (Cole). Woodlots were by far the easiest people to deal with and even has a delivery service that helped me save time and money. Some of my other friends have had some health issues with other breeders but Cole hasn’t had 1 after a year. Best people, best price, best puppies. Alana

Storm (formerly Rowena) became a member of our family in February, and she fits in so well! She’s smart, super goofy, and such a sweet girl! She loves all family activities, from hiking and paddle boarding, to just hanging out and enjoying the breeze! She is super chill but also has her puppy energy boosts…and she was so easy to potty and basic command train! We’re so lucky to have her and are looking forward to sharing many more adventures with her! April

We could not be more pleased with our decision to purchase our mini Sheepadoodle, Maggie Mae, from Woodlot Companions. Communication was amazing and all questions were answered clearly and with great patience! Our pup is happy and healthy! And she couldn’t be more loved! We bought our F1 mini Bernedoodle in July 2023. Originally named Rowan on the website, now named Saban has been the best dog! Woodlot companions were so helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone was so friendly and their trainer Kim was able to connect us with the perfect puppy to fit our lifestyle. We love him so much and would 100% recommend looking at Woodlot for your next puppy. After much research I decided to purchase a Mini Bernedoodle from Woodlot Companions. I couldn’t find one bad review and believe me I tried to. Gladys was very nice and easy to deal with. My big concern was delivery, we live in New York and didn’t want to go the plane route. I wasn’t sure if the van was the way to go either because I had visions of a dirty old hot van pulling up with an over heated half dead dog….🤔what to do, what to do?…and then my step daughter called to tell me they purchased their puppy(English cream retriever who the vet said was in excellent health)from woodlot(what are the chances?) and they had him delivered by A1 van and how smooth it went, she said the van was beautiful, air conditioned and the driver,(Wayne) was so kind. So relieved, I went through with the purchase of my smart, healthy,adorable Bernedoodle and I couldn’t be happier! The van was just as my step daughter said it would be! Thanks so much Woodlot!❤️

I couldn’t be happier with Tessa. I did my research and feel lucky to have found Woodlot and Merlin. From my first conversation with Merlin you could tell he really cares about who adopts his puppies. We drove 8 hours to get Tessa and it was so worth the ride. Tessa has such a sweet temperament and was so easy to train. What really impressed me was Merlin checking in after we brought Tessa home. He really cares and I would highly recommend anyone to adopt from Merlin.

Five-star all the way. I live in Northern California so there was a flight involved from Ohio and bought the puppy sight unseen. Would do again smooth PROFESSIONAL transaction. Gladys and her communication is excellent, picked up the phone on my first call. Sent current videos and pictures of (Logan) . Now known as RINGO the STARR. I feel very lucky to have stumbled across Woodlot Companions. Bought the dog on a Saturday could have got him as soon as Wednesday all flight information and itinerary was given days in advance lots of communication felt comfortable with this transaction from the first phone call. Gladys even helped me through the checkout process. My vet was very impressed with the puppies disposition, demeanor, socialization and as being very smart. Not to mention beautiful, he was the star of the clinic. Ringo is extremely smart very quick to learn. had him completely potty-trained in his new surroundings within a couple days, with 3 minor accidents. Pretty good for a young puppy that just was flown cross the country. I would recommend anybody purchase a puppy from Gladys and her family. They care about their pups and they care about their pups going to good homes. Thanks WOODLOT. !! Our family now knows where to get Quality Pups!

I fell in love with my Kylo (formally Radar)(Goberian)back in March of 2019 while living overseas. Merlin was so kind throughout the entire process and sent pictures and videos of him. Kylo was flown out to me once I returned to the States and I have been so shocked by his temperament. He is everything a first time dog owner could dream of. Gentle, calm, patient, loving. He is great with other dogs and even more amazing with children. Kylo and I are currently living in Italy now (he is even in training to be a therapy dog) and things are going wonderfully. He is the most happy and perfect boy and I couldn’t thank Woodlot enough for giving me my best friend!

I was looking for an English cream last October I happened to stumble across this website and I found Cooper when he was 15 weeks old I had no idea who these people were, they were in Ohio and I was in California so I purchased Cooper without visiting and it was the best decision I ever made he is a wonderful dog beautiful best personality and super smart!
